Our story
Built by a woman who
knows what it takes.
Kirstie Holmes was born in Chester County and raised in Hatfield, spending most of her life in the greater Philadelphia area. A North Penn High School graduate, she earned her cosmetology license in 2004 and spent ten years running a chair in Pennsylvania and New York salons before putting down the scissors to pursue a career in finance.
She learned the industry from the inside at a local bank — earning her Law and Banking and Principles of Banking designations through the American Bankers Association, building and teaching training programs across departments, and leading her offices to success with them. From there she obtained her mortgage license at two Philadelphia-area correspondent mortgage companies, where breaking the mold with consistent, ethical standards became her calling — and lifelong friendships with clients became the proof.
As a single mother of two, navigating change and difficult times has been Kirstie's specialty for years — personally and professionally. That's the heart of Empower: a mentor, a female-empowerment advocate, and a women-led team educating and empowering families to make the best decisions for their financial futures.
